WHAT DO I WANT TO BE WHEN I GROW UP??
Research has shown the average American will have 3-4 careers and 9-12 jobs when they reach retirement age. For those just joining the workforce, these numbers will be much higher!
So, I don't subscribe to the idea that you have to BE any one thing. You need to launch your career in a position that interests you, ideally leverages your degree and will provide a learning path to future you.
The timeline of when to start the work towards future you ideally starts in the SOPHOMORE year in college (so early, right??). But if you are beyond this timeline, don't worry, there are still opportunities to get into great internship or rotational program or your first/next job.

Previously, she spent 10+ years in house at Fortune 100 Financial Services Companies & Tech startups leading Talent Acquisition functions while always remaining a hands on recruiter. Experienced hiring, Executive Search, Campus Recruiting, Employment Brand & Recruiting Operations, ...... there isn't much she hasn't seen!
An advocate of progressing women’s interests within corporations, Kathy has always served as a DEI SME within the organizations she has worked.
Kathy is a first generation college graduate and holds a Finance degree from Villanova University.
After many years of living in NY & NJ, Kathy currently resides outside of Boston with her husband, two children and dog.
